Also notice it says “Jr rail” line so you can use your Jr pass to connect from the Hamamatsucho Station. Although that means you would have to have your JR rail pass activated already. It may be better just to pay for the fare with your Suica card since it’s pretty affordable.

TIP: pre-purchase a Suica card and pick it when you pick up your new JR rail pass at the airport!

The Keikyu Airport Line is another good option if you’re heading to central Tokyo. It runs from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa Station, which is a major transportation hub. TIP: You have to purchase your JR rail pass in your home country as you cannot purchase it once you’re in Japan! you can choose the activation day once you go exchange your JR pass voucher at the airport. Very important to know you need to have the JR pass on you at all times and if you lose it you cannot get another copy. Also, you’ll need to get your JR rail pass in your home country at least 3 weeks before your trip and do not forget to bring it with you to Japan.

When you arrive at Tokyo Station, you can easily transfer to other train lines to get to your final destination. The Yamanote Line, which circles central Tokyo, is a good option if you’re not sure which train line to take.
