best area to stay in Tokyo for first time Visitor

The best neighborhoods to stay in Tokyo, are Shinjuku and Shibuya. They are both located on the west side of the city. This is where you’ll find most of the attractions and popular restaurants in Tokyo.

What makes these areas even more appealing is their proximity to the Yamamoto JR line, which is the main train line you’ll be using to explore Tokyo. Being within walking distance of this line will save you a lot of time and your wary feet (trust me on this!).  Also, note that both Shibuya and Shinjuku are quite large areas.

If you’re interested in more detailed information about these areas and other neighborhoods in Tokyo to consider for your stay, I’ll provide a comparison of the benefits and conveniences of each place below and give you a briefing on other popular areas in Tokyo to stay at.
