The advantage of visiting during the low season is huge discounted rates on Bora Bora Resorts and fewer crowds to contend with.

We decided to visit Bora Bora for our honeymoon in March during their rainy season and snagged an amazing price on flights and overwater bungalows with a prime view of Mount Otemanu At the awesome luxury resort Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts, (check out my review of Le Bora Bora Resort here)

Get this, for less than $650 a night and less than $900 RT flight from SFO! The weather was perfect, Yes we got some light rain but honestly, it passed so quickly that it didn’t bother us at all, and made for amazing rainbows. The weather was a nice comfortable 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
