The resort sits on Anguilla’s northwest coast, between two beaches — Barnes Bay and Meads Bay — on 35 acres big enough that golf carts and long walks are just part of getting anywhere. My first read on arrival was that this felt much more like an actual resort than the other Anguilla properties I’ve stayed at. Not Cancún, exactly, but an elevated version of that energy — more restaurants, more pools, more people moving around at once, the kind of place built for infrastructure rather than the low-slung quiet this island is usually known for. If you want to disappear with one other person, this isn’t that. If you’re traveling with a group that needs somewhere different to go every few hours, it is.
